The latest Cultural Revolution expands on the “us vs. them” attitudes exploited and exacerbated by the wildly racist Karl Marx. The more contemporary “version 2” of Marxism was first deployed by the Frankfurt School and specifically by the writings of Adorno and Marcuse that define a social “theory” of what we know know as “woke” or “Cultural Marxism.”
“Haves” and “have nots” have been replaced with the more broad, murky and often ironically assigned categories of “oppressors and oppressed.” These transfer blame for all of societal ills on members of society deemed “privileged.” The “privileges” are primarily ascribed to immutable characteristics such as race and sex, but also for adherence to traditional values as guided in their upbringing and ultimately expressed in life choices and behaviors deemed to connected to “unfair” advantages.
Of course no revolution is complete without words to call out and shame whatever faction deemed inconvenient to “progress,” and boring old words like “counterrevolutionary,” have been replaced with the more exciting and colorful bits of name calling of “sexist” and “racist” which more recently have been expanded to include so-called “phobias.”
“Homophobe” caught on as “insult” as rational citizens from around the world pushed back on the world wide campaign of brainwashing to promote “progress” in redefining “marriage” to include groupings previously satisfied to be regarded as “domestic partners.”
More recently “transphobe” became the goto “insult” against any whom might question a world wide spay and neuter program being deployed against vulnerable children in the three step process of indoctrination (typically in schools or via social media,) followed up with permanent chemical castration, and ultimately with grotesque mutilation of sex organs.
And as the LGBT continues to add letters, it’s only a matter of time until even more outrageous crimes are protected by shaming by whatever “phobes” might be blamed for “oppressing” on the next category of”marginalized” villains.
Of course there’s no such phobias as “homophobia,” nor “transphobia,” in the PDM (Psychiatric Diagnostics Manual) nor otherwise, but the weaponization of phobias by Cultural Marxists is real enough.
A brilliant presentation by Black Pigeon Speaks that was ultimately removed from YouTube provides special insight on the science of actual phobias along with sensible commentary on the weaponization of “phobias” as a political tool.
