The Anthropology of Bald

It’s called “male pattern” baldness for a reason,

and testosterone is the agent that kills hair roots. There’s also an anthropological lesson in the “clean cut gentleman” and “shining examples.”

You’ll notice that the tribal leaders were almost ALWAYS the bald dudes. That’s because a head shrouded in unsightly hair is hidden. The men with exposed heads could be selected for the shape of their cranium. When the village saw a possibility that a nice round well developed melon could probably accommodate some brain matter, they’d realize that “this is the man who can lead us!”
