On Bias and “Credibility”

The fantasy of an “unbiased source” is quite an obsession with the category of person that’s tightly programmed by what they deem as “reliable sources.” The only real option to someone limiting their exposure to “unbiased” might be CSPAN where cameras are merely placed and whatever happens in the room presented less any narration. With this approach the only “bias” might be in camera angle and any supplemental lighting.

FB Communist Standards Marks Dice Video as Violation

Whereas it’s been clear that things are bad, and that they’re on their way to getting much worse, it was still rather surprising to find a very clear presentation of facts in a Mark Dice video to be a “violation” of “community standards” on Facebook.

A less jolly Mark Dice informed an audience of the facts being omitted from all major reporting to render the public more receptive to the wild mischaracterization and outright defamation of Kyle Rittenhouse by the press, pundits, and politicians alike. He also offered somber message that the mere sharing of memes or facts on both Facebook and Twitter is resulting in suspensions and removals.

Even his “Cops Lives Matter” shirt advertised at the end of his short feature was accompanied with a warning about exercising care about where and when this or any of his other products might be worn in public.

I’d always enjoyed Mark Dice’s upbeat tone as he laughed along with his audience on the utter lunacy of the increasingly unhinged left. But this presentation was delivered in a tone that makes it obvious that even his great spirit is being slowly ground down by the machine of the hateful left.

Finding his to be the most detailed and fact based presentation of Rittenhouse’s case, I shared at once to the Soros Riot page. Thinking about all the memes previously shared, I was pondering the implication and wondering how many posts would be flagged as violations, and whether it will be the basis of my next suspension on either or both of Facebook and Twitter.

After a nice dinner with family, I found myself in for a real surprise. Clearly Mr. Dice was not in any way kidding when he claimed that Facebook and Twitter were removing and banning any content that shared any facts about the the good citizen Kyle.

A choice to “accept” or “contest” their decision appeared to be offered, but then I realized that the “Continue” button basically was disabled, so I assume “Accept Decision” was the ONLY “option.”

Sensing a trap, I backed out of that whole process, and attempted posts to my own wall, and, for the moment, it seems my account and pages are still operational.

For now I’d recommend not sharing Mark’s video directly, and only sharing when embedded in a third party link as it is here.

Apparently Mark Dice is too big a brand to keep down with this crap, and FB has since reversed this action and restored the links to the video in question with the standard… “sorry we got this wrong” message. But then it was also interesting that our own hosting provider prohibited us from using Kyle’s full name in the tags for this very article.

While they might click right past “very bad” Fox News and skip school when it comes to Talk Radio, many, if not most “news” consumers are quite satisfied that by diversifying their “portfolio” to include CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, PBS (on the television.) Some of these might even take an occasional dreamy ride on the waves of NPR’s cool, soothing, if not hypnotic tone while others turn to Comedy Central to have their opinions delivered via a more honest form of joking.

The exceptionally gifted among lefties will plod through the pages of “news” that was formerly delivered to their front porch and that ultimately served as tool for house training their pets.

Holocaust Denier NYTimes also replaced reporting of the Holodomor with propaganda served directly to them from their Soviet accomplices. Today they are home to some of the most vile of hate propagandists that made their first impressions on Twitter.

This category of “informed citizenry” is kept “in the know,” and “filled in,” to their best discernment, well enough to share the resultant quality of opinions online and, when it was still possible, the old fashioned social gatherings.

The first and most important point that must be made is that there is more to the story that’s unfolding than what anyone should expect to be presented on CNN and other accomplices to the CCP and their Democrat allies.

The next is that simply deferring to “experts” is not much of a plan when experts disagree with one another and some are proven to work in tight alliance with nefarious interests that are proven to prioritize population control over the safety and saving of human lives.

This Dr. Eric Nepute eloquently warns of the clear dishonesty and alarmism by media and allies and demonstrates how these exacerbate the challenges we face together as a nation.

So-called “fact checkers” are hard at work to suppress the variety of doctor’s opinion presented above, and effort will be made to link to alternates once the above content is removed for “violating” a clear policy against any opinion that challenges the single message being promoted by Chinese Communists, their global cabal accomplices and the main stream Mockingbird Media.

Not even the most committed censors, Jackolf Twitler nor Mother Zuckerberg could go along with Pelosi’s demand to remove an undoctored video that featured her tearing the national treasure of the official transcript of the President’s moving State of the Union address.

Apparently she felt the TPUSA edit that interleaved the footage with the various emotional moments it represented was an unfair characterization of her antics. The self inflicted damage to her self assigned reputation as a “prayerful,” or otherwise semi dignified Leader of the infamous Congress of Apes would apparently be exacerbated by their take.

A pattern of abuse by the vile thought police at Facebook has resulted in several time-outs! And during the imposed “social distancing” most are enduring today, imposing a suspension of connecting to friends on social media that prohibits even personal messaging*, is particularly cruel and irresponsible.

I personally used, celebrated and promoted Facebook since I made the trade of personal information for what was promised to be a “better internet” in 2007. I encountered zero problems with the platform from then and through most of 2016. So a perfectly great experience for a full decade. And then, immediately after an election went the “wrong way,” the campaign of targeted harassment began.

At first, a 24 hour suspension over some minor business that I’ve frankly forgotten. Then 72 hours. Then a week. And subsequently over a full year of suspension of the three years that followed. Most over comments or memes that only a lunatic could construe as “violation” of anything.

The details for each installment in a campaign of harassment by Facebook are presented here in reverse chronological order.

EPISODE 32 – MID JANUARY 2023

After having shared a meme demonstrating vulgarity publicly shared all over social media by a particularly low IQ politician as part of a reelection campaign into a private group thread, the tag was immediately and apparently automatically flagged and removed for “sexual activity.” Somehow this offense resulted in a six day suspension.

EPISODE 31 – SEPTEMBER 15, 2022

After enjoying most of a recent trip to Central Europe with access to FB, I managed to preserve my use up until a fateful posting of a meme featuring Eric Swalwell. The meme featured an image of a woman sitting down across from Swalwell expressing concern for his gun grabber threats. His answer to, “you know I’m a gun owner,” was “you know we have nukes, right!” was a rather precise representation of his actual words. So somehow, this meme was characterized as some “incitement” or “threat of violence.” If that’s how they grade Swalwell’s own statement simply being called out by the meme, should the corrupt Congressman be the one put in jail for it?
